Meet Mari Beth
I'm Mari Beth Poor, a certified Life Coach. My desire to be a coach began when I was in a season where I felt “stuck”. Through coaching, I was able to make positive change and made a major career change equipped with the knowledge of who I am, how I am wired, what I value, and how life experiences prepared me for “what’s next”.
I have a B.A. in Psychology from Samford University and a Masters in Theological Studies from Beeson University. My professional coach certifications came through an extensive training program with Lifeforming Leadership Coaching.
I am professional, yet enthusiastic and strive to create a relational atmosphere for clients to discover their unique design, desires, dreams and destiny, both personally and professionally.
Today, my husband and I live in Helena with 2 golden retrievers. Personal spirituality is of great importance to me, as well as being able to help others find freedom. In my free time, I enjoy riding horses, traveling, and reading.
My Approach
The International Coach Federation defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.
Coaching is the art of interacting with a person creatively in a way that energizes them to achieve extraordinary results in their desired objective. As a coach, I partner with clients to identify important goals and priorities, strategize about how to reach them, and overcome obstacles that creep up along the way. My certifications include:
Lifeforming Growth Coach (ACSTH)
Lifeforming Life Coach (ACSTH)
Lifeforming Leadership Coach (ACSTH)
